Real estate taxes are assessed at $0.18 per $100 of assessed value. Tax bills are prepared through Accomack County for the town and distributed in November of each year. Real Estate taxes are due on December 5 of the current calendar year and late fee/interest are applied if submitted after that date.
The Town of Keller charges $0.25 per $100 of assessed value, over $1000, on personal property. These taxes are based on personal property registered in Accomack County and the bills for such are prepared through the Accomack County Treasurer’s office.
All taxes can be submitted to the town office by mail, in person, or online using Municipay. Licenses can be secured by completing the forms provided on town web page and either mailing or coming to the Town Office in person. If paying in person, checks, cash, or money orders are accepted. The Town Office is open Tuesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
